Official sourceThe following aspects of the constitution are reserved matters, that is— a the Crown, including succession to the Crown and a regency, b the Union of the Kingdoms of Scotland and England, c the Parliament of the United Kingdom, d the continued existence of the High Court of Justiciary as a criminal court of first instance and of appeal, e the continued existence of the Court of Session as a civil court of first instance and of appeal.
