Official source1 Section 5 of the Courts-Martial (Appeals) Act 1968 (constitution of court for particular sittings) is amended as follows. 2 In subsection (4) after “expedient to do so” insert “ after consulting the Lord Chief Justice ” . 3 After subsection (5) insert— 6 The Lord Chief Justice may nominate a judicial office holder (as defined in section 109(4) of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005) to exercise his functions under this section.
