In section 97(5) of the Water Industry Act 1991 (performance of sewerage undertaker’s functions by local authorities etc.)— a in the definition of “relevant area”, at the end of paragraph (c) insert “ and ” , and b in the definition of “relevant authority”, in paragraph (b), for “, a development corporation for a new town or the Development Board for Rural Wales” substitute “ or a development corporation for a new town ” .
