1 This paragraph has effect for the purposes of the Human Rights Act 1998. 2 Any assimilated direct principal legislation is to be treated as primary legislation. 3 Any assimilated direct minor legislation is to be treated as primary legislation so far as it amends any primary legislation but otherwise is to be treated as subordinate legislation. 4 In this paragraph “ amend ”, “ primary legislation ” and “ subordinate legislation ” have the same meaning as in the Human Rights Act 1998.
