Official sourceIn section 297 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 (wreck commissioners), after subsection (3) insert— 3A The Lord Chancellor may remove a wreck commissioner from office only with the concurrence of— a the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, or b if the commissioner was appointed to act in Northern Ireland, the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland.
