Provision text
Official source(a) The provisions of this Basic Law shall apply to the application elections, and the formation of the Government, as of the elections to the Sixteenth Knesset. (b) Subject to the provisions of clause (a), this Basic Law shall go into effect on the day that the Government shall be formed, as stated in clause (a). (c) Despite the provisions of clause (b), article 44 shall go into effect on the day that this Basic Law shall be published.
