Official sourceArticle 16245: The head of the Supreme Court and the prosecutor general must be just scholars
of jurisprudence and knowledgeable of judicial matters. The head of the judiciary power, in
consultation with the judges of the Supreme Court, shall be appointed to the post for a period of
five years.
