Official sourceArticle 12828: Ambassadors to foreign countries are selected upon the recommendation of the
minister of foreign affairs and the approval of the President of the Republic. The President of the
Republic signs the credentials of the ambassadors and accepts the credentials of ambassadors
from other countries.
