Article 647: There shall be 270 representatives in the Islamic Consultative Assembly. Every ten years, after the referendum of the year 1368, having considered the demographic, political and geographic, and other factors, at the most twenty representatives can be added. The Zoroastrians and the Jews each elect one representative; the Assyrian and Chaldean Christians elect one representative together; the Armenian Christians of the North and the South each elect one representative. The law determines voting districts and the number of the representatives.
