65. Clerks to Houses of Parliament and their staffs (1) There shall be a Clerk to the Senate and a Clerk to the National Assembly. (2) The offices of the Clerks to the two Houses and of the members of their staffs shall be offices in the public service Page 40 offices in the public service. (3) Nothing in this section shall be construed as preventing the appointment of one person to the offices of Clerk to the Senate and Clerk to the National Assembly or the appointment of one person to any office on the staff of the Clerk to the Senate and any office on the staff of the Clerk to the National Assembly.
