Official source139. Principal Secretaries and Government Secretary
(1) The power to appoint a person to hold or act in any office to which this section applies
shall vest in the Prime Minister, acting after consultation with the Public Service
Commission:
Provided that the power to appoint a person to hold or act in any such office upon transfer
from another such office carrying the same emoluments shall vest in the Prime Minister.
(2) The offices to which this section applies are the office of any Principal Secretary and
the office of the Government Secretary.
