Official source37. Par Valsts Prezidentu var ievēlēt pilntiesīgu Latvijas pilsoni, kurš sasniedzis četrdesmit gadu vecumu. Par Valsts Prezidentu nevar ievēlēt pilsoni ar dubultpilsonību.
