The First President of the Supreme Court is seconded by three Vice-Presidents, assigned respectively
to the presidency of the Court of Cassation, of the Council of the State and of the Court of Accounts.
Each Vice-President is appointed in the Council of Ministers by decree of the President of the
Republic in accordance with the proposals of the Superior Council of the Magistrature, preferably
from among the oldest within the highest degree of the Magistrates respectively of the judicial,
administrative and financial orders.
