The functions of President of the Republic are incompatible with any elective public function, any
other professional activity, any activity within a political party, a political group, or an association, and
the exercise of responsibility within a religious institution.
All violation of the provisions of this Article, declared by the High Constitutional Court, constitutes a
reason for definitive impediment of the President of the Republic.
