The High Constitutional Court on referral to the matter by the Parliament decides on the lifting of the
temporary impediment.
The temporary impediment may not exceed a time period of three months, after which the High
Constitutional Court, on referral to the matter by the Parliament deciding by separate vote of each of
the Assemblies and with a majority of two-thirds of its members, may decide on the transformation of
the temporary impediment into a permanent impediment.
