The Parliament, by a vote of the absolute majority of the members composing each Assembly, may
delegate its power to legislate to the President of the Republic during a limited time and for a
determined object.
The delegation of power authorizes the President of the Republic to take, by ordinance in the Council
of Ministers, measures of general impact on matters arising in the domain of the law.
