70. (1) If at any sitting of the House of Representatives any member who is present draws the attention of the person presiding at the sitting to the absence of a quorum and, after such interval as may be prescribed in the Standing Orders of the House, the person presiding at the sitting ascertains that a quorum of the House is still not present, the House shall be adjourned. (2) For the purposes of this article - ( a ) a quorum of the House of Representatives shall consist of fifteen members; and ( b ) the person presiding at the sitting of the House shall not be included in reckoning whether there is a quorum present.
