Provision text
Official source(1) All legislative powers of the Republic shall be vested in Parliament which shall have the powers and responsibilities set out in this Constitution. (2) An Act of Parliament shall have primacy over other forms of law, but shall be subject to this Constitution. (3) Any question proposed for decision by the National Assembly shall be decided by a majority of the votes of the members present and voting, unless this Constitution or any Act of Parliament otherwise provides.
