Official source5. Every citizen of or over the age of eighteen years who is resident in the
State is qualified to be a member of the Legislative Assembly, unless he is
disqualified for being a member by the Federal Constitution or this Constitution
or by any such law as is mentioned in section 6 to the Eighth Schedule to
the Federal Constitution.
