Official sourceArticle 49 Chief Justice and Judges of Supreme Court
(1) The Supreme Court consists of a Chief Justice and such number, if any, of other
judges as is prescribed by law.
(2) The judges of the Supreme Court shall be appointed by the President.

(3) A person is not qualified to be appointed a judge of the Supreme Court unless he is
entitled as prescribed by law to practice as a barrister or solicitor in Nauru and has
been so entitled for not less than 10 years.
