Article 57A CONSTITUTION OF NAURU 1968 (4) The Nauru Court of Appeal shall consist of the President of the Nauru Court of Appeal and such other number of Justices of Appeal as may be prescribed by law. [cl (4) subst Act 10 of 2022 s 5, opn 8 June 2022] (5) The Justices of Appeal are to be appointed by the President in consultation with the President of the Nauru Court of Appeal. [cl (5) subst Act 10 of 2022 s 5, opn 8 June 2022] [cl (6) rep Act 10 of 2022 s 5, opn 8 June 2022] (6) A person is not qualified to be appointed a Justice of Appeal unless he or she is qualified to be appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court and has been so qualified for at least 10 years. [cl (7) am and renum as cl (6) Act 10 of 2022 s 5, opn 8 June 2022] (7) A person may be appointed a Justice of Appeal either for a period of time or for the hearing of one or more particular appeals as specified in the instrument of appointment.
