(1) Notwithstanding Article 66, until the Auditor General is first appointed the Cabinet
shall cause to be audited at least once in every year the public accounts of Nauru and
the accounts of such public bodies as Parliament by resolution determines.
(2) The Cabinet shall cause a report on the results of an audit under clause (1) of this
Article to be laid before Parliament as soon as practicable after completion of the
audit.
