All legal proceedings pending or incomplete in the Central Court of the Island of Nauru
immediately before Independence Day shall stand removed to the Supreme Court, which
shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine the proceedings and the judgments and
orders of the Central Court of the Island of Nauru given or made before Independence
Day shall have the same force and effect as if they had been delivered or made by the
Supreme Court.
