Times when registration of party logos prohibited

No action may be taken in relation to an application for the registration of a party logo during the period that,— a in relation to a general election,— i begins with the commencement of the regulated period for a general election; and ii ends with the close of the latest day for the return of the writ for that general election: b in relation to a by-election,— i begins with the commencement of the regulated period for the by-election; and ii ends with the close of the latest day for the return of the writ for the by-election.
