Official sourceThe purposes of the register are— a to enable members of the public to ascertain— i whether a person is a registered promoter and, if so, the address of that person; and ii whether an election advertisement is promoted by a registered promoter; and b to assist with the enforcement of the provisions of this Part. Section 204S : inserted , on 1 January 2011 , by section 7 of the Electoral (Finance Reform and Advance Voting) Amendment Act 2010 (2010 No 137).
