Maximum amount of candidate’s total election expenses

1 The total election expenses of a candidate in respect of any regulated period for a general election must not exceed the amount published on the Electoral Commission’s internet site under section 266A . 2 The total election expenses of a candidate in respect of any regulated period for a by-election must not exceed the amount published on the Electoral Commission’s internet site under section 266A . 3 The amounts published on the Electoral Commission’s internet site are inclusive of goods and services tax.
