Submissions

Any political party to which a member of Parliament belongs and any independent member of Parliament and any political party whose candidates have, at the immediately preceding general election, obtained 5% or more of the valid votes cast by electors at that general election may make submissions to the Commission in relation to the matters to be considered by the Commission under section 35(3) or section 45(6) . 1956 No 107 s 15C; 1991 No 68 s 2(1) Section 34 : amended , on 17 December 1993 , by section 8(1) of the Electoral Amendment Act (No 2) 1995 (1995 No 61).
