Duties in relation to claim referred for mediation

The person to whom a claim is referred under clause 9A shall use his or her best endeavours to bring about a settlement of that claim. Schedule 2 clause 9B : inserted (with effect on 9 December 1987) , on 30 June 1988 , by section 7 of the Treaty of Waitangi (State Enterprises) Act 1988 (1988 No 105).
