1 A party secretary must keep proper records of all loans entered into on behalf of the party. 2 A party secretary who fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $40,000. Section 214B : inserted , on 25 March 2014 , by section 41 of the Electoral Amendment Act 2014 (2014 No 8). Section 214B heading : replaced , on 1 January 2023 , by section 11 of the Electoral Amendment Act 2022 (2022 No 80).
