Power of Tribunal to refer claim for mediation

1 The Tribunal may from time to time refer to any member of the Tribunal or the Director of the Tribunal or any other person any claim submitted to the Tribunal under section 6 . 2 Where a claim is referred to a member of the Tribunal under subsection (1), that member shall not sit as a member of the Tribunal for the purposes of the inquiry into that claim. Schedule 2 clause 9A : inserted (with effect on 9 December 1987) , on 30 June 1988 , by section 7 of the Treaty of Waitangi (State Enterprises) Act 1988 (1988 No 105).
