Application for registration of eligible political party made but not determined before commencement date

1 This clause applies if, before the commencement date,— a an application for registration of an eligible political party is made to the Electoral Commission under section 63 ; and b the Electoral Commission has not determined the application. 2 The Electoral Commission must determine the application as if— a section 63(2)(da) had not been inserted by section 59 of the amendment Act; and b section 71B had not been replaced by section 61 of the amendment Act.
