Bulk nomination of constituency candidates

1 At any general election, the secretary of a political party that is registered under Part 4 may, in accordance with this section, nominate as candidates for election for electoral districts persons who are qualified under this Act and who consent to be nominated. 2 The secretary of a party may nominate its candidates under this section by lodging, with the Electoral Commission , a single bulk nomination schedule on a form provided by the Electoral Commission . 3 A bulk nomination schedule— a may be lodged by hand, post, or electronically ; and b must be lodged with the Electoral Commission not later than noon on nomination day. 4 The Electoral Commission must give a written receipt for every bulk nomination schedule that the Electoral Commission accepts.
