Prison manager to inform prisoners removed from hospital or secure facility of disqualification for registration

1 This section applies in respect of a prisoner who— a is removed to a prison from a hospital or secure facility to serve a sentence of imprisonment; and b during their detention in the hospital or secure facility, was not disqualified under section 80(1)(c) for registration as an elector. 2 As soon as is reasonably practicable after the prisoner has been removed to the prison, the prison manager must inform the prisoner that they are disqualified under section 80(1)(d) for registration as an elector of an electoral district.
