Providing money for illegal purposes

Where any person knowingly provides money for any purpose which is contrary to the provisions of this Act , or for any election expenses incurred in excess of the maximum amount allowed by this Act, or for repaying any money expended in any such payment or expenses , that person is guilty of an illegal practice. 1956 No 107 s 147 Section 220 : amended , on 1 March 2009 , by section 14 of the Electoral Amendment Act 2009 (2009 No 1).
