Article (7) (1) The foreign policy of the State shall be based on the principle of consolidating international peace and security, via encouraging the peaceful resolution of international disputes, in line with the State's role in resolving such disputes at both the regional and international levels through mediation and dialogue, and all that is required thereby for maintaining balanced relations with all parties, supporting the right of people to self-determination, refraining from interference in the internal affairs of countries, and cooperating with peace-loving nations.
