Article (83) (2) Where for any reason a seat of one of the Members of the Shura Council falls vacant before the expiry of the term thereof, the Amir shall appoint another member within one (1) month from the date when the Council announces the vacancy. The term of the new member shall last until the end of the Council's term. If the vacancy occurs within the two (2) months preceding the end of the Council’s term, no replacement member shall be appointed.
