Official sourceARTICLE 87 (1) The President of Romania may participate in the meetings of the Government debating upon matters of national interest with regard to foreign policy, the defence of the country, ensurance of public order, and, at the Prime Minister's request, in other instances as well.
(2) The President of Romania shall preside over the Government meetings he participates in.
