Official source(1) Legislative power is vested in a
Parliament composed of two Chambers:
(a) the Chamber of Deputies, whose
members are known as “Deputies”;
(b) the Senate, whose members are
known as “Senators”.
(2) Parliament debates and passes laws. It
legislates and exercises control over
Government activities in accordance
with procedures determined by this
Constitution.
