Provision text
Official source(1) The President of the Republic is the
Head of State.
(2) The President of the Republic is the
defender of the Constitution and the
guarantor of national unity.
(3) The President of the Republic is the
guarantor of the continuity of the State,
independence and sovereignty of the
country and the respect for international
treaties.
(4) The President of the Republic delivers,
once every year, the state of the Nation
address.
