Article 86 1. The legislative power vested in the National Assembly shall be exercised by Bills passed by the Assembly and assented to or deemed to have been assented to by the President. 2. Subject to Article 87, where a Bill is presented to the President for assent, the President shall, within fourteen days of the presentation of the Bill, assent, or, in accordance with this Part, withhold assent, to the Bill. 3. The President shall cause a Bill which has been passed and assented or deemed to have been assented to in accordance with this Constitution to be published in the Gazette whereupon it shall become law. 4. A Bill passed by the National Assembly and assented to or deemed to have been assented to by the President shall be styled an "Act" and the words of enactment shall be "Enacted by the President and the National Assembly".
