Article 62 1. Subject to this Constitution and to any other law, the powers of establishing and abolishing offices for the Republic shall vest in the President. 2. The President may, by order, declare that an office established by the President under clause (1) shall not be an office in the public service. 3. Appointment to an office declared by the President not to be an office in the public service shall be made by the President from candidates propose d by the Constitutional Appointments Authority. 4. Appointment to an office, established by the President under clause (1), other than an office referred to in clause (2), shall be made by the President or by a person or body authorised by the President.
