The Official Gazette 31 July 2021 - The Seventh Edition The Official Gazette The Fifth Edition - The Fiftieth Year Contents Pages Decrees Amiri Decree No. (6) of 2021 Concerning Sending a Member of a Judicial Authority to Retirement. 5 Executive Council Resolutions Executive Council Resolution No. (106) of 2021 Concerning the Fees of the Economic Licences. 9 1 Decrees 3 seerceD Amiri Decree No. (6) of 2021 Concerning Sending a Member of a Judicial Authority to Retirement We, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi Having reviewed: • Law No. (1) of 1974 concerning the reorganisation of the Governmental body in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments; • Law No. (23) of 2006 concerning the Judicial Department in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments; and • Based on recommendation of the Judicial Council and the endorsement of the Chairman of the Judicial Department, Issued the following Decree: Article (1) Counselor Mohammed Saeed Sulaiman Al-Shebli, First Chief Prosecutor (Third Grade), shall be sent to retirement. Article (2) This Decree shall be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette. The approval of the amendment of the fees on the economic licences for all local government entities in accordance with the following: First: The Department of Economic Development: a. The amendment of the fees in accordance with the following table: Service Fee Issuance of a licence for the practice of economic activities, AED 790 including the fees of all local authorities concerned with the economic licence Renewal of a licence to practice of economic activities, including AED 890 the fees of all local authorities concerned with the economic licence Economic licensing procedures AED 10 Issuance of the trade name AED 50 Addition of an economic activity AED 100 Addition of an industrial product AED 500 Issuance of a sole proprietorship licence for a National AED 50 b. The Chairman of the Department of Economic Development may issue the resolutions regulating the maximum number of economic activities and industrial products allowed in the economic licence, and 9 in case of the addition of economic activities or industrial products to the economic licence beyond the permissible limit for the licence, the additional fees shall apply. c. The licence issuance and renewal fee shall include the fees of all local entities concerned with economic licensing, and they shall be collected from the Department of Economic Development. d. The fees of the Department of Economic Development for the authentication of memoranda and articles of association of commercial companies shall be amended in accordance with the table here-below: Authentication Amendment Transaction Type Fee Fee Memorandum of Association and Articles of AED 15,000 AED 7,500 Association (Public Joint Stock) Memorandum of Association and Articles of AED 5,000 AED 2,500 Association (Private Joint Stock) All other legal forms of the companies AED 50 AED 50 Service agent agreement (institutions - AED 50 AED 50 professional companies) Other Contracts AED 500 AED 500 Addition of an industrial product AED 500 Issuance of a sole proprietorship licence for a AED 50 National Second: The Department of Municipalities and Transport: • The municipal fee for the authentication and registration of economic lease contracts and service fees shall be amended so that a fixed municipal fee of AED (50) is collected annually, regardless of the value of the contract, and shall be collected by the Department of Economic Development. 10 Third: Abu Dhabi Centre of Waste Management: • Cancellation of the Centre’s fees imposed upon economic establishments, including fees on service providers and tariffs on waste producers. Fourth: Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority: a. Cancellation of the fees of the activities and the certificate of fulfilment for the civil defence. b. Fees for training workers shall be collected as part of the fees of the entities regulating the economic licensing of the facility without regard to the number of registered workers. 2. The Executive Council Resolution No. (337) of 2018 concerning the exemption of new economic licences from fees shall be repealed, and all the fees related to economic licensing at the competent local entities shall be cancelled to the extent they violate the provisions of this Resolution.
