Fort Macleod Provincial Historic Area Establishment Regulation
This regulation establishes the area described in the Schedule as the Fort Macleod Provincial Historic Area.
(no amdt) ALBERTA REGULATION 158/84 Historical Resources Act FORT MACLEOD PROVINCIAL HISTORIC AREA ESTABLISHMENT REGULATION 1 The area of the Municipality of Fort Macleod described in the Schedule is established as a provincial historic area to be known as the Fort Macleod Provincial Historic Area. Schedule Description of the Fort Macleod Provincial Historic Area The Fort Macleod Provincial Historic Area shall encompass all the land within the Municipality of Fort Macleod lying within the area encompassed by a boundary commencing at the midpoint of 2nd Avenue intersected by the line of the lane easement between 21st and 22nd Streets and passing northward along the median of 2nd Avenue to a point intersected by a line that would pass along the north limit of those Lots bordering on 22nd Street to the south side; Thence easterly along the northern limits of the Lots bordering on 22nd Street to the midpoint of 3rd Avenue; Thence northerly along the median of 3rd Avenue to a point intersected by a line that would follow the lane easement between 23rd and 24th Streets; Thence easterly along the median of the lane easement to a point intersected by the continuation of the line dividing Lots 16 and 17; Thence northerly along the Lot lines dividing Lot 16 from Lot 17 to the midpoint of 25th Street; Thence westerly along the median of 25th Street to the midpoint of Provincial Highway No. 3; Thence south‑westerly along the median of Provincial Highway No. 3 to a point intersected by the extension of a line following the median of the lane easement between 23rd and 24th Streets; Thence easterly along the median of the lane easement between 23rd and 24th Streets to a point intersected by the extension of the property lines dividing Lots 29 and 30; Thence southerly along the property lines dividing Lots 29 and 30 to the midpoint of the lane easement between 21st and 22nd Streets; Thence easterly to the midpoint of 2nd Avenue. All of which area, bounded as aforementioned, is, for the purposes of convenience of reference only and not for legal identification, shown as bounded by a thick black line on the plan set out below.
