(no amdt) ALBERTA REGULATION 192/2017 Municipal Government Act MUNICIPAL CORPORATE PLANNING REGULATION Table of Contents 1 Definition 2 Requirements of financial plan 3 Requirements of capital plan 4 Transitional 5 Coming into force Definition 1 In this Regulation, “Act” means the Municipal Government Act . Requirements of financial plan 2 The financial plan that a municipality must prepare pursuant to section 283.1(2) of the Act must include (a) anticipated total revenues and total expenses by major category, (b) the anticipated annual surplus or deficit, and (c) the anticipated accumulated surplus or deficit. Requirements of capital plan 3 The capital plan that a municipality must prepare pursuant to section 283.1(3) of the Act must include (a) planned capital property additions, and (b) allocated or anticipated funding sources. Transitional 4 The first financial year required to be reflected in a financial plan and a capital plan is the 2020 financial year. Coming into force 5 This Regulation comes into force on the coming into force of section 40 of the Municipal Government Amendment Act, 2015 .
