The King’s Printer must publish The Alberta Gazette on the 15th and last day of each month, mail issues if possible on the day dated, and sell copies for the listed charges. The Minister may direct special issues and distribution.
(Consolidated up to 218/2022) ALBERTA REGULATION 44/70 King’s Printer Act KING ’ S PRINTER REGULATION 1 Repealed AR 310/74 s3. 2 The King’s Printer shall publish an issue of The Alberta Gazette on the 15th and the last day of each month but when either day is a holiday the issue to be published on that day shall be published on the first preceding day that is not a holiday. AR 44/70 s2;218/2022 3 Repealed AR 65/89 s2. 4 The King’s Printer shall, if possible, have each issue of The Alberta Gazette forwarded by mail on the day it is dated. AR 44/70 s4;218/2022 5 (1) The Minister charged with the administration of the King’s Printer Act may direct the King’s Printer as the publication and the manner of distribution of special issues of The Alberta Gazette to make public in advance of the next regular issue any matter the Minister considers advisable. (2) The contents of any special issue of The Alberta Gazette shall form part also of the next regular issue. AR 44/70 s5;65/89;218/2022 6 Repealed AR 353/2003 s2. 7 The King’s Printer may send one copy of each issue of The Alberta Gazette free of charge to: (a)-(j) repealed AR 353/2003 s3; (k) any dominion, provincial and public libraries that the King’s Printer considers appropriate; (l) any other persons or institutions the Minister charged with the administration of the King ’ s Printer Act directs. AR 44/70 s7;65/89;353/2003;218/2022 8 Repealed AR 65/89 s6. 9 The King’s Printer shall sell copies of The Alberta Gazette to a person upon payment of the following charges: (a) for an annual subscription consisting of (i) Part I and the annual index, and (ii) Part II and the annual cumulative index to Alberta regulations $150 (b) for Part I and Part II of a single issue $ 10 (c) for an annual index to Part I or Part II $ 5 (d) for an annual bound volume of Part I $140 (e) for an annual bound volume of Part II $ 92.
