Egg Farmers of Alberta Federal Authorization Order

(Consolidated up to 14/2026) ALBERTA REGULATION 27/2014 Marketing of Agricultural Products Act EGG FARMERS OF ALBERTA FEDERAL AUTHORIZATION ORDER Definitions 1 In this Order, (a) “ Canada Act ” means (i) the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada), and (ii) the Agricultural Products Marketing Act (Canada); (b) “Commodity Board” means the board known as the Egg Farmers of Alberta; (c) “Federal‑Provincial‑Territorial Agreement” means the agreement respecting the revision and consolidation of the comprehensive marketing program as agreed to by the parties for the purpose of regulating and marketing eggs in Canada, as revised from time to time; (d) “Federal Order” means the Alberta Egg Order made under the Agricultural Products Marketing Act (Canada); (e) “Grant of Authority” means the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency Egg Quota Grant of Administrative Authority made under the Farm Products Agencies Act (Canada); (f) “Marketing Council” means the Alberta Agricultural Products Marketing Council. AR 27/2014 s1;14/2026 Authorization 2 The Marketing Council hereby authorizes the Commodity Board to perform all functions and duties and exercise all powers imposed or conferred on the Commodity Board under the Canada Act , the Federal‑Provincial‑Territorial Agreement, the Federal Order and the Grant of Authority. AR 27/2014 s2;14/2026 Repeal 3 The Alberta Egg Producers Federal Authorization Order (AR 60/2000) is repealed.
