About this statute

This Act regulates hunting, wildlife possession, licences, and enforcement, and sets many hunting prohibitions unless a specific authorization or exception applies. This provision bans or limits several wildlife-related activities, including hunting interference, unauthorized possession, trafficking, import/export, and certain firearm use, and gives wildlife officers and the Minister enforcement powers. This provision makes employers, principals, guides, and corporate officers liable in some cases for offences committed through others, sets fines and imprisonment limits, and gives courts and ministers powers to make post-conviction orders and regulations.
