(Consolidated up to 156/2026) ALBERTA REGULATION 257/2007 Gas Utilities Act GAS UTILITIES DESIGNATION REGULATION Table of Contents 1 Gas utility pipelines 2 Application of ss26 and 27 3 Repeal 4 Expiry 5 Coming into force Gas utility pipelines 1 The following gas utilities are designated for purposes of section 1(g.1) of the Gas Utilities Act : (a) ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd.; (b) repealed AR 185/2009; (c) Apex Utilities Inc. AR 257/2007 s1;185/2009;119/2021 Application of ss26 and 27 2 Sections 26 and 27 of the Gas Utilities Act apply to the following owners of gas utilities: (a) Apex Utilities Inc.; (b), (b.1) repealed AR 119/2021 s3; (c) ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd.; (d) Canadian Utilities Limited; (e) CU Inc.; (f) TriSummit Utilities Inc.; (g) TriSummit Utility Group Inc.; (h) TriSummit Utility Holdings Inc. AR 257/2007 s2;149/2015;119/2021 Repeal 3 The Designation Regulation (AR 237/2005) is repealed. Expiry 4 For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this Regulation expires on July 31, 2031.
