Provincially Significant Peatlands Regulation, M.R. 6/2023 The Peatlands Stewardship Act , C.C.S.M. c. P31 Regulation 6/2023 Registered January 20, 2023 bilingual version (HTML) Definitions 1 The following definitions apply in this regulation. "agricultural activity" includes grazing and the harvesting of turf or sod. (« activité agricole ») "provincially significant peatland" means an area designated as a provincially significant peatland under this regulation. (« tourbière d'importance provinciale ») Fish Lake Fen Provincially Significant Peatland 2 The area described on the map in Schedule A is hereby designated as the Fish Lake Fen Provincially Significant Peatland. Moswa Meadows Provincially Significant Peatland 3 The area described on the map in Schedule B is hereby designated as the Moswa Meadows Provincially Significant Peatland. Prohibition on logging and agricultural activities 4 A person must not engage in any of the following activities in a provincially significant peatland: (a) logging or any other type of forestry activity; (b) any type of agricultural activity.
