This regulation defines the controlled area map, sets when areas are controlled or exempt, designates certain highways as limited-access highways, and states when the regulation starts in force.

T147 Regulation 12/2019 Registered February 19, 2019 bilingual version (HTML) Definitions 1 The following definitions apply in this regulation. "controlled area map" means the March 1, 2019 version of the department's Controlled Area Map, which is available for inspection (a) in paper format at the department, at the following location: Highway Planning and Design Branch 1420-215 Garry Street Winnipeg, MB R3C 3P3 (b) in electronic format, at the following website: www.gov.mb.ca/mit/hpd/. (« carte des zones contrôlées ») "department" means the department of the minister responsible for the administration of The Transportation Infrastructure Act . (« ministère ») Controlled areas 2(1) An area is prescribed as a controlled area if it is identified as a "controlled area" on the controlled area map. 2(2) An area is exempted from being a controlled area if it is identified as "exempted from controlled area" on the controlled area map. Limited-access highways 3(1) The following highways are designated as limited-access highways: (a) Provincial Road No. 230 commencing with its junction with the highway presently known as P.T.H. No. 8 in Lot 30 Parish of St. Andrews thence northeasterly to its junction with Provincial Trunk Highway No. 9 in River Lot 5, Parish of St. Clements as shown on plans of survey no. 2538, 2565 (Two Mile Road), 3404 (Two Mile Road), 3405 (Two Mile Road), 13712, 15028 and 15029 W.L.T.O.; (b) Grand Beach Provincial Park – Eastern Access Road commencing at its junction with Provincial Trunk Highway No. 12 in Section 16-18-7E thence northerly to the north west corner of Section 16-18-7E. 3(2) A highway or portion a of highway is exempted from being a limited-access highway if it is identified as "non-limited access" on the controlled area map. Coming into force 4 This regulation comes into force on the same day that Schedule A of The Traffic and Transportation Modernization Act , S.M. 2018, c. 10, comes into force.
